Vivi doesn't want a traditional black cat. She thinks they're boring and smell like tuna.

Wanting to be an original witch, she embarks on a journey to find a more interesting pet. Perhaps she will be the only witch to have a hippopotamus ride on her broom

Through exploring the pros and cons of different animals, Vivi discovers what the perfect pet means to her.

Will she let go of wanting to impress others? And will she learn why some traditions stick? Sometimes lessons are only learned through trial and error and having the space to discover who you are.
