Teenagers in America, as well as many other kids throughout the world, have a lot on their minds. A recent Pew Research Center survey of children aged 10 to 18 found that a sizable majority of them identify bullying, drug and alcohol usage (and abuse), anxiety, and sadness, and these issues as serious issues for people their age.
What percentage of American youths specifically have these and other experiences? We examined the most recent statistics from governmental and academic academics to learn that serious mental stress affects a large number of teenagers globally. According to the latest survey, 8 out of 10 teenagers believe that sadness and anxiety are common issues among their classmates.
Teenagers are also concerned about matters of personal safety. According to the Center's survey, 75% of Teens reported that gangs and bullying were the two biggest issues they faced among their classmates.
